Call for Extended Abstracts

IEEE Computer Society Bangladesh Chapter Symposium 2026 will be hosted by Institute of Information Technology, Jahangirnagar University, Savar, Dhaka with active support from Team SPARK, the Secretariat, the Graduate Student Forum, the Web and IT Committee, the Student Activities Committee, and Women in Computing. The symposium will be held physically on campus on July 12-13 November, 2026. The symposium will provide an excellent platform for students, academicians, and professionals from CSE, ICT, EEE, and allied fields in various universities, research institutes, and industries to share their ideas and discuss recent developments and research with eminent researchers and academicians. Participants will have the opportunity to receive expert guidance, opinions, and insights to further improve their ongoing research. Undergraduate, graduate, and postgraduate students are encouraged to submit their preliminary research works, partial or final research results, or previously published papers to extend their work during this mega showcase. The IEEE Computer Society Bangladesh Chapter will add summarized abstracts (up to three lines or 50 words) to the Digital Library web portal and publish the main abstracts in a book without copyright or an ISBN number, which will be distributed among symposium participants. Publishing in this symposium will not prevent participants from submitting their work to any other conference or journal.

Submission Guidelines

Please ensure your abstract adheres strictly to the following formatting and submission rules before uploading.

All submissions must be original and not simultaneously submitted to another journal or conference.

Extended abstracts should be between 2 to 4 pages in length, including all figures, tables, and references.

Please follow the standard IEEE conference template for formatting your document (A4 paper size, double-column format).

Submissions must be made in PDF format exclusively through our official online submission portal.

At least one author of each accepted abstract must register for the symposium to present their work.

All papers will be subjected to a strict double-blind peer review process by our technical committee.
